Can you use a Lowrance iFinder Pro GPS for tracking dogs.?
What you are proposing is nothing more than a poorly rated and too expensive hand held GPS receiver. If you think your question for a second, a GPS receiver picks up signals from GPS satellites and triangulation, determines its location on the surface of the earth. Now I told you how GPS works, how the hell can a hand help GPS unit is used to "dog issue"? To trace anything, you are tracking has to be something in it that is sending a signal of some sort. Are these dogs who are willing track send some sort of signal you have not told us this? If this answer is no, then you will not be able to "dog issue" with the GPS. I suppose you could follow the same dog and a GPS receiver in your hand not to be missed … but unless that's what I say, the answer is NO! LOL!
