Solar domestic hot water systems are among the most popular solar technologies considered by those planning to switch to "greener" technologies or want to reduce their heating bills bills, using a free source. The solar hot water systems vary widely, depending primarily to the demands of different climate: some are especially designed for hot and temperate climates, and in colder climates.

Different solar systems
Some systems use flat plate collectors, while others use vacuum tubes collectors and collectors lot.
Flat-plate solar collectors are the most used type of solar panels today. Closed-loop solar heating system uses no water in the collectors. Drinking water is pumped to the storage tank, but never in solar collectors. Is anti-freezing liquid (often a mixture of water and glycol) that circulates through the solar collectors through a coil of pipe (in the storage tank) and is in the pipe coil that heats the water. The anti-freezing at extremely low temperatures supports and protects the system from damage caused by freezing. Glycol should be reviewed annually and changed regularly every few years (depending on temperature and quality of glycol).
Some systems integrated use of the tank (the lot of the solar system) and some of use (the thermosyphon system) a storage tank at the top of the collector, while others use auxiliary tanks and storage tanks and backup wide apart.
Batch systems do not involve bombs and there is no demand for separate storage tank, or anti-freeze, heat exchangers, valves and sensors. In the case of thermosiphon systems: such as clean water (or antifreeze in colder climates), entered into the collector heated and rises to the surface of the collector and the tank, where it is stored (which is why the tanks are always above the collector).
