Is there a better GPS tracking device to monitor my progress during a tour of place?
I am ready to be the walking trail through the Appalachians. I would like a GPS tracking device to clip on my backpack for my family and relatives can check my progress to ensure that all is well. The SPOT device is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for, except it has a tendency to lose the satellite signal in the dense foliage covers much of the TA.
