Can I put a hanger where my car was so radio antenna works … or any other form of making it work?
I do not have an antenna for the radio doesn't work … There is a home remedy until you can buy a new antenna?
You can use a coat hanger, just make sure it is only touched the metal on the bottom of the connector and not touch any part of the body of the car. If it is touching the car body is lowered from the antenna and get no reception. Sure that the antenna is about 3 feet long to get the best reception. I'm pretty sure you can get a new antenna for a cheap parts store for about $ 10 – $ 20. MikeC
