Is it possible to load an Apple Macbook with a charger cord Dell Inspiron?

I left half a charging cable for Apple in someone's house, and need to charge a Macbook. I disconnected the section pre-charging cable adapter from a Dell Inspiron and plugged into the Mac After letting it load for 20 minutes or so, the adapter is extremely hot. I looked and saw the cable Inspiron produces 7 amps at 125 volts and adapter input accepts normally 1 amp to 100-240 volts. Is it still a viable option?

Nope. Their chargers are completely different. Do not try to do it again, it could cause a problem later with your battery life MacBook.
