I have a eTrex Vista HCx, Mapsource I sync with, but ona Time Track not sync. What to do?

When in sync Mapsource onlu benchmarks, elevation, and transfer of the track but not the start time and elapsed time. Am I doing something wrong? It is a Garmin GPS
