Acer T230h LCD touch screen does not work?

I just bought a touch screen T230h ACER LD and installed it. The directions are horrible. No support on the web. Basically I'm stuck. The picture looks good – but no touch screen interface. Nothing happens when I play. There came a VGA cable, DVI cable, cable USB and power cable are all connected. The only cor has a connection for the HDMI cable. Do I need all five cables for this to work? Or is my kind of interface choicewhich I use? Help! Any other ideas?

Only use the USB connection. Make sure you are running a system operation that is compatible with the Touch Screen capabilities.
