what would be a good portable gadget for videos?

I'm thinking of gadgets where I can watch movies and TV shows anywhere / time want. I was thinking of buying an iPod, but I think it's worth since it has a music player. other ideas?

The best video player should be portable Archos marks. He has the combination of the best screens, better interface and portability that makes a portable video player a good. I would recommend that Archos 704 or 705.
